MUMBAI: While Bollywood’s leading ladies are usually so well turned-out, there were the usual cases of less-than-appealing style statements this week, this time by two of Bollywood’s top actresses!
Katrina Kaif: The name itself brings about a mental image of the gorgeous lady, in all her beautiful finery. However, this time, Katrina made it to our worst dressed list for making one cardinal fashion sin: she paired DENIM WITH DENIM! She wore a denim shirt on acid washed light blue jeans, on her return from Ibiza (where she was holidaying with her beau Ranbir Kapoor no less), and made us cringe in dissatisfaction.
Priyanka Chopra: She too shocked us by turning up for the release of her latest single ‘Exotic’ in a frumpy black shorts-suit and wild hair. PC, please note: The just out of bed look requires work, and you can’t just walk out of bed and throw on the first thing you find in your closet. Our verdict: Epic Fail!
Huma Qureshi: Usually under the radar in pretty enough ensembles, Huma really made us sit up and take notice this week, but not in a good way. Seen at an event for her upcoming film ‘D-Day’ (which stars Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Irrfan, among others), She was dressed in a very blah white shirt, with a sky blue collar and cuffs (reminiscent of a child’s nanny). Too much pasty foundation and plain lip colour did nothing to salvage the look.
