MUMBAI: This week, Bollywood’s men (and one man in particular), wowed us with their sartorial choices. Some of the B’town hunks put their best fashion foot forward, and we salute their individual style statements.
Shah Rukh Khan: Music launches, TV shows, and promotional events dotted the uber stylish Shah Rukh Khan’s calendar, and the Baadshah made sure he was dressed to impress at all the events. It was a triple treat for SRK fans, for the King Khan wowed us, thrice over, with his sartorial choices.
At the promotion of ‘Chennai Express’ on the TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil, Shah Rukh Khan brought back the injury-chic style, with his snazzy black sling. In a white shirt, blue denims and a navy blazer, SRK held forth on sets.
SRK charmed fans once again at Mahalaxmi race course, and on the sets of DID, in a crisp six-buttoned navy blue blazer over jeans. The scraggly beard and dark sunglasses were in place, as he strode into both venues purposefully.
At another reality TV show’s sets (Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa), Shah Rukh Khan looked dapper in a grey woollen suit. The beard was still there, but the sunglasses and sling were missing in action. It was here that SRK morphed into the charmer ‘Rahul’, with his ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ co-star Madhuri Dixit.
Farhan Akhtar: The handsome, multi-faceted actor, singer and director was seen in a neat-and-clean avatar, while promoting his upcoming release ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ on sets of a reality TV show. Dressed in a light grey tee, white trousers and a teal blue blazer, Farhan was impeccably stylish and immaculately proper, as always.
We also really dig Farhan’s rocker avatar, which he displayed at the airport. Farhan was taking off for London, along with ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ actress Sonam Kapoor, and we loved his effortlessly stylish light blue tee, jeans and grey bolero hatted look.
John Abraham: John Abraham was involved in a closed-door meeting with Air Asia CEO Mittu Chandilya this week. Dressed in a crisp white linen shirt and khaki trousers, John channelled the casual relaxed chic vibe that he is renowned for. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: no one can quite pull off a simple white shirt-jeans/ trousers combo like our very own Johnny Bravo aka John Abraham
