The anticipation already soared high when the makers of Bajirao Mastani revealed the first look of Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in the film and now the makers have made our day by releasing the film’s trailer.

In this trailer of historical drama film, we see Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in a whole new different avatar. With a soundtrack fabulous enough to leave you stunned, the video has no dialogues. The over two minute long trailer shows glimpses of sword fights, battles, slashing and slicing, bows and arrows, strictness and grace and.. fierce love, shows more than one can take. In the trailer, we see Ranveer Singh, who plays the role of Bajirao, slaying it mercilessly. With his bald head, the star flaunts a moustache and by the looks of it, the new avatar totally suits him. The trailer also features beautiful actresses Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, playing the role of Ranveer’s wives, Kashibai (first wife) and Mastani (second wife) respectively. While Priyanka Chopra’s character is friendly, lively and light, it’s Deepika Padukone who steals all the thunder with her icy cold eyes and impressive skills with swords and bow and arrows.

The trailer is all about battle and blood. While Ranveer Singh is fighting his enemies in the war, Deepika isn’t far behind and is seen ripping a man apart with her sword to protect their child. In the trailer, Ranveer is seen behind the wheel with Deepika beside him, whereas Priyanka Chopra has taken the backseat. With no dialogues and just background chilling soundtrack mixed with sounds of swords clashing, the trailer ends with Ranveer’s confident and claiming voice, where the actor says, “Bajirao ne Mastani se mohabbat ki hai, ayashi nahi” and with this, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s trailer comes to a halt.

Overall, we liked Bajirao Mastani’s trailer, which is based on Maratha warrior Peshwa Baji Rao, played by Ranveer Singh and the romantic saga that revolves around him, his second wife Mastani and his first wife Kashibai.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 18, 2015.
