After Page 3, Fashion and Heroine, Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar is back with his upcoming film Calendar Girls. The wait is finally over as the teaser of the much awaited film is finally here.
After looking at the teaser, there’s no denying the fact that Calendar Girls is going to be yet another “typical” Madhur Bhandarkar film. It has the same kind of aura that director’s rest of the earlier brilliant works had. In the first part of the teaser, we see the flashing lights and the bright smiling faces of the calendar girls. But in the other half, the truth is stripped off of the picture perfect photographs and as the flashing lights go off, every character’s twisted dark truth is revealed.
The teaser is enough to give a glimpse of the haunting dark story that is attached to each character of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Calendar Girls. Every girl has a different story and teaser pretty much reveals the fact that the film is going to be a tragic rollercoaster ride. The film will take us through the lives of five extremely enchanting girls. From their rise to their falls in the fashion industry, Madhur Bhandarkar’s drama film, Calendar Girls will reveal it all. Going by the reputation that Madhur Bhandarkar has in the industry and the sort of standard his films have created, we are extremely excited for this upcoming film. After all, just when we thought Madhur had covered all the possible controversial deep topics, the news about Madhur’s yet another drama film broke out, and we are waiting for the film ever since.
Even though the teaser isn’t all that extraordinary, it raises expectation.
