Well, we are talking about the latest offering for the Yash Raj Camp; Daawat-e-Ishq, which is set to redefine the age old saying – A way through a man’s heart is through his stomach to A way through a woman’s heart is through her stomach.
Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur come together for the first time in Habib Faisal‘s film Daawat-e-Ishq, and while the title of the film hints at a feast of love, the trailer looks fun and cute.
Daawat-e-Ishq is set in Hyderabad and is a story of Gulrez (Parineeti Chopra) and Tariq (Aditya Roy Kapur). The chemistry between the leads looks good and Anupam Kher as Gulrez’s father look promising.
Parineeti Chopra is her usual self and there is nothing new about her, but is Aditya Roy Kapur who catches your attention. He looks the part, speaks the language and from the looks of it would do justice to the role.
From the trailer one can make out that Gulrez gets rejected from prospective suitors on account of the dowry demands and ends up saying yes to marrying Tariq. Now the million dollar question is, does Gulraz say yes because she loves Tariq or she is saying yes as she has no options. Well, it seems she says yes as she has no option and at the end of the film would realise the power of love over money.
