[tps_footer]There is nothing new about what one gets to see in the trailer of Desi Kattey. Infact the trailer reminds you of Gunday as Desi Kattey is all about two friends and what happens to them, very boring and mundane.
Produced and directed by Anand Kumar, Desi Kattey stars Jay Bhanushali, Suniel Shetty, Ashutosh Rana and Vinod Khanna‘s nephew Akhil Kapur in the lead roles.
In the trailer, you see Gyani (Jay Bhanushali) and Pali (Akhil Kapur) play best buddies, and their only aim is to rule the big bad world of mafia, but things change when Suniel Shetty enters the scene and best friends turn enemies. Now that’s so original.
Anand Kumar feels that the movie, with its varied emotions, will strike a chord with the audience. “Every person who believes in friendship, patriotism and is passionate about sports will surely connect with it,” says the director.
Rekha Bhardwaj, Ustad Rahat Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal have lent their voices to the film’s songs, which have been penned and composed by Kailash Kher.
Well, the trailer of Desi Kattey has nothing very great to offer and if one goes by this, then the film also would be a dreaded two hour experience. All I would look at is the item number that features Claudia Ciesla.
I feel sad for people like Jay Bhanushali who just for the sake of doing films take up projects like Desi Kattey and Hate Story 2.
