Mika Singh Arrested For Slap Controversy In Delhi

The slap controversy for Singer Mika Singh does not end, where he slapped a doctor on stage during a live concert in south West Delhi in April. The police today on Thursday arrested Mika for the slap controversy for causing hurt and wrongful restraint.

The singer who has been travelling since months after the FIR was lodged against him has got into a fresh trouble. The incident took place in April at a concert organised by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society, as a part of their three-day conference being held at the Delhi Pusa Institute Mela Ground in Inderpuri.

The police officials who immediately reached the venue said, “While performing, Mika had called some of the audience on stage for an activity. During the activity, something done by the doctor irked Mika who then slapped him and handed him to the bouncers.”

Soon Delhi Police had registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against him at Inderpuri police station even as a video of the alleged incident appeared on some websites. Victim’s colleagues who got furious over it created a ruckus at the venue but police immediately intervened and an FIR was filed against the singer.

Recently, Mika Singh attended the IIFA 2015 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is been travelling all over for his upcoming projects since FIR has been lodge.
