Shah Rukh Khan Receives His Second Doctorate Degree in UK

Recently, we got the news that SRK has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Edinburgh for his contribution to film and his philanthropic work. The superstar was also asked to deliver a speech on such a special occasion, and the students as well as the teachers were interested to learn and listen to the life experiences of this star.

King Khan has been awarded several national and international honours which include Best Indian Citizen Award and the Padma Shri award. He has also been honoured with Rajiv Gandhi Award for “Excellence in the Field of Entertainment” in 2002. This is SRK’s second doctorate degree, as he has already received an honorary doctorate in arts and culture from Britain’s University of Bedfordshire in 2009. Among others, how can we forget the Ordre des Arts et des Letter award which was given to him by the French government for his “exceptional career” .
