The 33-year-old actor Shahid Kapoor was speaking to reporters at a promotional event of his upcoming film ‘Haider‘.
Gossip mills were abuzz that filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala had bought rights of S S Rajamouli‘s 2009 Telugu hit film Magadheera and Shahid liked the concept.
When asked about it, Shahid chose to play safe and said, “I saw the film and I liked it a lot. Whether I will do it or not.. The official announcement will be made later on.”

Shahid would then likely step into actor Ram Charan‘s shoes in the Hindi remake.
The 2009 blockbuster directed by SS Rajamouli starring Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal, the historical romance tells the story of a bike stuntman who recalls his previous life as a warrior and his love for a princess.
While Shahid Kapoor gears up for the release of Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider, the actor has his hands full with Vikas Bahl’s Shandaar, Raj and Krishna DK’s Farji, Abhishek Chaubey’s untitled project and Sajid Nadiadwala‘s Magadheera.
We wish Shahid Kapoor all the best for his upcoming projects.
