Kick actress Jacqueline Fernandez who was to appear in a special dance sequence in Salman Khan’s production film ‘Hero’ has confirmed the cancellation of the song.
Salman Khan had approached Jacqueline Fernandez for the item song in his production film Hero, but it seems the song has been scrapped out now. Recently during the event launch Jacqueline Fernandez was asked about her item song with Salman Khan in Hero. To which Jacqueline Fernandez said, “ No, that song has been cancelled.”
According to the reports, earlier Jacqueline Fernandez had adjusted her dates to do the item number for Salman Khan’s production film, Hero. Reportedly the duo had some discussions on this, but later Jacqueline didn’t plan to go ahead because of her commitments for other project. But somehow she managed to adjust the dates and confirmed Salman Khan that she will do it.
But now with Jacqueline’s confirmation, the song has been cancelled. Reportedly, director Nikhil Advani thought to give a skip to the item song from the film as it was making film lengthy.
Recently, Jacqueline Fernandez had also turned down the offer to do an item number in a Punjabi film. It’s learnt that a Canada-based director, Amandeep Kler approached Jacqueline to do an item song in his film for which the actress was required to travel to Canada for three days to practice the dance steps and shoot the song from June 7-9.Jacqueline has declined the offer citing date issues
Coming to Salman Khan’s production film Hero, the film is directed by Nikhil Advani and Salman himself produces it. It is a remake of Subhash Ghai‘s directed 1983 film of the same name, starring Jackie Shroff, Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj and Sunil Shetty’s daughter Athiya in leading roles.
