Bajrangi Bhaijaan as we all know has broken all the records on its way, the film directed by Kabir Khan did not only prove successful in conveying a strong message but also gave rise to many real life events. The Salman Khan- Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is directed by Kabir Khan. After setting a high mark on the box office, the film is again in news for some real serious issues.

According to earlier reports, an Indian girl renamed Geeta had crossed the border unknowingly 14 years ago and got stranded in the land of Pakistan. Even after 14 long years the girl is still living in Pakistan and was renamed Geeta when she was brought to the Edhi Centre in Lahore from Punjab. Geeta’s story has a striking resemblance to the reel movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan which is also based on the story of a stranded Pakistani girl in India. The issue of Geeta has gained loads of headlines recently for its resemblance. After getting highlighted in the mainstream media, the issue has been getting loads of mileage, actor Salman Khan has also offered to help the stranded girl.

Recently while attending a press conference, filmmaker Kabir Khan also commented on helping Geeta and the plans to send her back home. The talented filmmaker shared, “If we can help in any way to bring attention to it, to spread more information across newspapers and channels, then it’d be really good for the case.” Adding to the same the Phantom director Kabir shared that Salman was surprised to learn about the incident and said, “He too said the same thing that we should talk about it through tweets and other mediums. Because our film is still running in the theatres and has been successful, so if we use this platform to talk about the case, then this news will spread farther.”

After the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kabir Khan is all keen to help out the girl. On the professional front the director is coming with highly awaited film Phantom starring Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan. The trailer of the film has already released and is impressing the audience to the core.
