Barfi!’s newest song to reach the audience, Main Kya Karoon is a sweet, melodious number that brings out the romantic in you.
The song, composed by Pritam, is an elegant mix of sweet moments, funny antics and even funnier expressions. Whether it is picking his nose hair, leaving his zipper open or falling off the cycle in front of the girl he loves (Ileana D’Cruz), Ranbir Kapoor pulls off innocence with élan.
Ranbir plays a deaf and mute person in the movie. “Ranbir as a person is very spontaneous and naughty. His aura is such that I remember on the last day of shoot, Ranbir was bidding good bye to all by hugging them. I saw how everyone was feeling that moment….they were really feeling sad,” Basu said.
The first trailer of the movie has been a hit and director Anurag Basu credits Ranbir for it. “If Ranbir wouldn’t have done this movie, I wouldn’t have made it. I always had Ranbir in my mind for this role. Even on the day when I was writing the 10th page of the script.” The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra as an autistic character and is scheduled to release on 14 September.
