Watch: Shahid Kapoor Reveals Similarities Between Kareena Kapoor Khan And Alia Bhatt

Bollywood’s two tinsel ladies Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt are such two actresses who have huge fan following and moreover the duo have been constantly compared to each other during several occasions. Yesterday, during the trailer launch of Shaandaar, Shahid Kapoor was also hit with the same question of Kareena-Alia and must say the actor smartly answered over it.

Shahid Kapoor who is drooling his female fan following with his chocolate boy appearance in his just released Shaandaar trailer was asked about the similarities he finds between Alia and Kareena. To which the actor gave a very straightforward reply saying, “It is a big compliment for Alia that she is being compared to Kareena, because Kareena is a very established actress. I think there are no comparisons or similarities as they both are different and both have done phenomenal work. Both are original actors.”

The actor didn’t stop there; Shahid Kapoor went on complimenting Alia Bhatt about her success and brave decisions she is making currently with her films and much more.

Talking about Shaandaar, the trailer of the film was released yesterday in Mumbai. Starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the trailer is very impressive with the duo sharing a unique chemistry. The story of Shaandaar revolves around the wedding of Alia’s elder sister, where plays Shahid the wedding planner. Not just Shahid and Alia’s, even Pankaj Kapur’s chemistry in the film with Shahid is a must watch. Alia and Shahid look adorable at their best with energetic and vibrant appearance in the trailer.

For the first time Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be pairing together on the big screen and moreover Shaandaar is said to be India’s first film on destination wedding. The shooting of the film is done in London, UK. Also Shahid Kapoor’s father Pankaj Kapur is a part of the film. Directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Karan Johar, the film is set to release this year on festive occasion of Dussehra on October 22,2015.

Apart from Shaandaar, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen together in Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh alongside in the lead roles.
