Mahek Chahal interacted with the media and said: “A regular design education is must for the students to be the established designers of tomorrow.”
Mahek Chahal, has been a part of films like Nayee Padosan, Wanted and Chameli. Talking about her Bollywood journey, she stated, “I am happy with whatever I have done so far in Bollywood. In between, I had moved to Norway for a while but I am back now. I am working on a couple of Bollywood projects.”
One also remembers her as one of the Bigg Boss contestants. Mahek Chahal was the runner-up in Bigg Boss 5, and stated its unfair to say that everything in Bigg Boss is scripted.
“I feel that there are too many wrong notions about Bigg Boss. One notion is that it is just a way of achieving fame and that everything inside the house is scripted. I find that ridiculous. Several popular celebrities like Navjot Singh Sidhu have taken part in the show. Participating in a show like this is a huge challenge, as you are under intense scrutiny thanks to all the cameras. People should give some due credit to the contestants. I agree that the fights between the contestants get highlighted more, but then isn’t that what the audiences are more curious about?” said Mehek.
