Ness Wadia has prepared a list of thirty witnesses, who would be supporting his side of the story in connection with the incident between him and actor Preity Zinta. A source close to Wadia said this list would be submitted to the police so that a fair chance is given to him.
Though the names of Wadia’s set of witnesses have not been disclosed, the source said they are the ones who were present at Garware Pavilion on May 30, where Zinta had registered a case against Wadia, alleging that he had abused and manhandled her on that day. Based on the complaint, the Marine Drive police registered a case.
According to Wadia’s version, the argument regarding the seats at Garware did take place between him and Zinta on May 30. However, the source close to Wadia said that there was no abusing or manhandling involved. “Many witnesses have already supported this point,” the source said.
Meanwhile, the police are likely to call Wadia this week to record his statement.
