Mumbai, Sept. 7, 2007 – Autodesk, Inc. will be participating in the 2007 International Broadcasters Convention (IBC) being held in Amsterdam from September 7 to 11, 2007. At this internationally renowned exhibition, Autodesk will showcase new releases of its visual effects, editing/finishing and color-grading solutions. Autodesk will also present the latest releases of its 3D modeling, animation and rendering products. At Autodesk’s IBC stand #7-420, the company will demonstrate how its media and entertainment products are used by digital artists throughout the entire creative process.
Product Demonstrations and Client Presentations
Each day of the exhibition, IBC attendees can view demonstrations of Autodesk’s new versions of its film and television solutions at the Autodesk stand, including:
· Autodesk Flame 2008 visual effects system
· Autodesk Smoke 2008 editing/finishing system
· Autodesk Lustre 2008 digital color-grading system
· Autodesk Maya 2008 and Autodesk 3ds Max 2008 modeling, animation and rendering software
· Autodesk Toxik 2008 procedural compositing software
In addition, show attendees can see daily client presentations at the Autodesk stand, including the following:
· Brett Manson, colorist at The Video Lab in South Africa, will demonstrate his work on Namibia: Struggle for Liberation.
· Dawn Bowery, Flame artist from BSkyB in London, will demonstrate how Flame was used in idents, promos and packages for BSkyB.
· Derek Moore, head of 2D at Prime Focus London, will demonstrate his Autodesk Inferno and Flame work on the Hyundai spot Fluid Quality, BBC One idents and a Jack Penate promo for Tom on the Platform.
· Gavin Graham, CG supervisor at Double Negative in London, will demonstrate how Autodesk Maya software was used on the feature film Stardust.
· EFX Prasad’s Ken Metzker, colorist, and KV Anand, director of photography, will give an overview of the Indian Film Market as well as demonstrate various technical challenges encountered when creating certain looks for the first feature film posted in a full 4K resolution pipeline in India. The film is called Shivaji, The Boss.
· Sebastian Göhs, colorist and compositing artist at CinePostproduction in Berlin, Germany, will be demonstrating his use of Lustre on the project Anhalter, a stop-motion animation, shot frame-by-frame on a digital SLR.

IBC Radio FM 105.6
Autodesk will participate in three segments that will be broadcast on IBC’s radio station FM 105.6. The topics are:
· Concurrent Workflows: An overview of how Autodesk’s systems enable artists to work simultaneously on editing, visual effects and color grading.
· You Never Forget Your First Flame: Post-production facilities Rushes and Smoke & Mirrors will share their experiences using the Flame system.
· What’s New in Autodesk’s 2008 Product Releases: A series of interviews with Autodesk beta testers, highlighting new features and benefits in the 2008 releases of Flame, Smoke and Lustre.
Events and Training
On September 7 and 9, 2007, Autodesk will hold seminars in Amsterdam for its subscription customers, showcasing features in the latest releases of Flame and Smoke.
