Mumbai: Big 92.7 FM has appointed Sunita Uchil as National Sales Director, Big 92.7 FM. With over 14 years of experience in media-sales, Uchil will be spearheading her new role in Big 92.7 FM based in Mumbai and will be looking after the entire functioning of ad sales, business development, strategic thinking and implementation and team building across the 44 Station strong network. Uchil will be reporting in to Praveen Malhotra, National Sales Head-Integrated Sales Unit for Big 92.7 FM, Big Digital & Big Street.
Malhotra said, "This elevation is much deserved for Sunita, who boasts of an excellent track record and rich industry expertise. Given the competition that the radio industry is facing in terms of advertisers, her expertise in media sales will take us to the next level, especially given the expansive network of Big 92.7 Fm’s across the length and breadth of the country."
Uchil has been with the company for over a year, and has played a significant role in contributing to the substantial rise in the revenues as Regional Sales Director before being elevated to the position of National Sales Director. Prior to joining Big 92.7 FM, Uchil has worked with The Times of India, the latest venture being with Hum FM, UAE, in the capacity of Director, Sales.
