MUMBAI: E-motions Pictures, headed by Milind Soman and Parvati Balgopalan, is getting aggressive across different arenas of the entertainment industry.
The company that generally produces films has yet another wing – Face Entertainment. This wing is busy building up television content and has recently started doing events. E-motions currently has seven films under different stages of development.
Speaking exclusively to Businessofcinema.com, Soman says, “We are stepping up on our over all plans. To start of with, of the seven films, one will be a Rs 15 crores budgeted film. We are in the process of signing directors and locking in scripts.” Balgopalan will be directing one of the films co-produced by Maya Entertainment headed by Ketan Mehta and Deepa Sahi.
Other than this, the company is now planning to set up a fiction unit too. “We have a lot of non-fiction shows running on air, which includes After Hours with Nina Manuel, Bollywood Top 10, Teen Guru, Gateway of course and a few more. We have a fiction show titled Hum Tum on 9X, we are looking at more in the time to come.”
This apart, the company has been organizing celebrity events like Abhishek Bachchan’s Flying Machine promotional activity amongst others.
