Mumbai: Endemol India has announced the appointment of Neena Raut as the creative head, Endemol Regional. Endemol plans to make serious inroads in the extensive regional content space for television by establishing Endemol Regional. Endemol is setting up a team of professionals for this new venture and looking at possible tie-ups with media houses that will further strengthen their presence in these markets.
Endemol India country head Deepak Dhar said, "Endemol Regional plans to create content for Gujarati, Marathi and Bengali channels in the near future. For this sole purpose, Raut with her extensive experience in the regional television industry will definitely contribute to the already existing talent pool at Endemol."

With 25 years of rich media experience Raut, who formerly worked with Shri Adhikari Brothers as creative head, will lead the change for Endemol India in the regional media space.
Raut has previously worked on a host of successful television programmes namely Tak Dhina Dhin, a popular musical quiz programme that aired for over six years and 275 episodes, creating a national record for the longest–running regional language TV programme in India. Adding to her credit were shows like Dokyala Dulki pioneering humor programme format – a concept that was a huge on-air success and Saap Sheedi a show based on the snakes and ladders board game, amongst others.
