MUMBAI: The success of Lage Raho Munnabhai has had a good effect on Arshad Warsi’s other films. The latest to join the list is producer Bipin Shah and director Deepak Shivdasani’s Mr Black Mr White. Eros Multimedia has acquired the worldwide rights of the film.
Shah says, “Eros Multimedia has acquired the worldwide rights of the film for a good price. The film is budgeted at Rs 70 million (Rs 7 crores). We plan to release the film on either 15 December or 26 January with 300 plus prints all over. The film will also have digital prints.”
Eros’ Sunil Lulla was unavailable for comment.
Apart from Warsi, Mr Black Mr White stars Suniel Shetty, Anishka Khosla, Rashmi Nigam, Sandhya Mridul, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mahima Mehta along with Tania Zaetta.
The film was earlier titled Gopi Kishan 2 and was later renamed Mr White Mr Black. A major spell of the shooting was held in Goa.
