Mumbai: Starting 19 September, E-City Ventures-promoted Fun Cinemas will screen "The Genre Announcers" at the beginning of the each movie. Its an innovative new idea to improve the audience experience at Fun Cinemas. Genre Announcers are 60 seconds clips which will define the genre of the film getting screened for the audience thereby setting the mood for the experience to follow.
Exclusive Genre Announcers will be played all across Fun Cinemas. There will be six different Genre Announcers – Action, Comedy, Drama, Kids, Romance, and Thriller.
Fun Cinemas vice president Shirish Handa says, "We are proud to be the first and only multiplex in the country to introduce this novel idea which we call as Genre Announcer. This is the new way of setting the tempo for our patrons evening at our cinemas. I am confident these films will bring a smile to their faces and will be a memorable marketing gimmick."
