MUMBAI: After creating buzz at films festivals in Berlin, Sundance and Cannes, The Devil’s Double directed by Lee Tamahori (earlier directed Bond Film Die Another Day, Once Were Warriors and XXX 2) starring Demonic Cooper is set to release in India and Pakistan.
The film, which is based on the true story of Latif Yahia, an Iraqi soldier who was forced to become a body double for Uday Hussein, the insane son of ruling tyrant Saddam Hussein has been brought to Indian audiences by Rakesh Jain of JRD Films.
The movie is scheduled to release in August in four languages namely English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu across the country.
