MUMBAI: People Group’s wireless arm, Mauj Mobile has appointed Rajiv Nayyar as senior vice president carrier sales and marketing.
People Infocom (Mauj Mobile) CEO Manoj Dawane said, "The appointment of our new Sales and Marketing Head is in sync with our ambitious growth plans. At Mauj Mobile, Nayyar will be spearheading the carrier sales and marketing departments. He will be instrumental in strengthening the company’s business base with robust processes and strategic insights. His portfolio will also include all marketing led initiatives undertaken by the company to further consolidate its leadership.
Nayyar added, "The MVAS market is on an upward incline and it will be challenging as well as exciting to work for a company that has the approach, ability and most importantly the attitude to be the sole leader in this space."
Nayyar joins Mauj Mobile after his association with ACME Tele Power as VP International Business. With 16 years of experience, Nayyar has worked with companies like Ericsson, UTStarcom and HCL Technologies.
