MUMBAI: Producer Rakesh Roshan’s next film venture, Krazzy 4, will mount the sets in July 2007.
The film will be directed by his assistant Raja Sen. Sources inform that Krazzy 4 is a comedy film. Roshan, sources add, was trying to rope in a reputed director but finally decided to hand over the directorial reigns to his assistant.
While the film will commence shooting from July, the song recordings for the film are going on under the baton of music director Rajesh Roshan. The first song, penned by Javed Akhtar, was rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan.
The film is being made under the banner of Filmkraft Productions (India) Pvt Ltd, and stars Arshad Warsi, Dia Mirza, Irrfan Khan, Rajpal Yadav, Suresh Menon, Rajat Kapoor, Zakir Hussain and Juhi Chawla. The film has been scripted by Ashwini Dheer.
