MUMBAI: Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to start shooting his latest film, Guzaarish from 30 July. But before the director can call action, he has gone to Ajmer to seek blessings at the Ajmer Sharif Darga.

Starring the box office favourite couple of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Guzaarish is the film that Bhansali will be making after his Saawariya debacle. Close friends of the film maker say, "Saawariya has changed Bhansali, but he has not lost his honesty and passion towards film making. I think he is more aware of what he has to make and that he has a fan following that expect him to make movies that stand out. That is a responsibility and I think that Bhansali has finally realized it."

Bhansali will be returning to Mumbai today from Ajmer. "A religious man, Bhansali," his aide said, "he likes to seek the divine’s blessings and also ensures that his mother is present on the set on the first day of shoot. His mother is his reason for making films and it is imperative that she be present."

The shooting for Guzaarish will commence at Mumbai’s Film City. The first schedule is almost for a month, before the unit heads out to Goa for the second schedule. Hrithik is already set for his character having practiced the role of a paraplegic for almost a month now. Aishwarya, who is shooting in Kerala with Mani Ratnam for Raavana, will be joining the unit, later.
