MUMBAI: Aditya Kapoor, son of veteran actor Shammi Kapoor, is set to direct a Hindi film.
A source within the Kapoor family says, “He is directing a medium budget Hindi film. It will have one hero. The film is in the pre-production stages. He had earlier made three English films. His uncle Rishi Kapoor had featured in his latest, Don’t Stop Dreaming.”
His father, Shammi Kapoor, had also taken to direction in the 1970s, with Manoranjan and Bundalbaaz. Aditya Kapoor is a management graduate and has been in the UK for the last 20 years.
