Short film Forever to screen at Cannes

MUMBAI: American short film Forever has been selected for screening on the opening night of the Cannes film festival in May this year.

Directed by Labid Azia, it has been produced by Two Rams Entertainment, a New York / Los Angeles / Boston based company. The film has been edited by Indian born editor Anuradha Singh, who recently edited the Salman Khan starrer Hollywood film Marigold.

Says Anuradha Singh, “I am thrilled that I am a part of this short film, which is being screened in Cannes. Forever is about OCD – Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is a five minute long film.”

Singh, who was a medical student in Delhi, shifted gears to assist Vidhu Vinod Chopra during the making of Mission Kashmir and also assisted Renu Saluja in editing the film.

Singh has also edited Hollywood film Blood Monkey. An FTII graduate, Singh happens to be the first working editor from India in Hollywood. She has also directed award winning documentaries like Touch The Sky With Glory (based on the Air Force) and In Front Of My Eyes and a short fiction film, Ek Lamha…One Moment.
