Walt Disney India to release Rishi – Neetu Kapoor starrer Do Dooni Chaar

MUMBAI: After having released its first Hindi animation film Roadside Romeo in 2008 along with Yash Raj Films, Walt Disney Company India is now gearing up to release its first Hindi live action film called Do Dooni Chaar, which stars Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. The movie is scheduled to release on 8 October.

Produced by Planman Motion Pictures, Do Dooni Chaar is an inspiring story of a middle class family and is directed by Habib Faisal. The movie also stars Aditi Vasudev and Archit Krishna. Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, will be seen in a full fledge role together after almost 30 years. It may be recalled that Neetu Kapoor made a tiny special appearance with her husband in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal last year.

“Do Dooni Chaar and the recently announced Telegu fantasy adventure film Anaganaga – O – Dheerudu (Once Upon A Warrior), made for our southern audiences, highlights great film making, timeless stories and the versatility of our Studios business to produce across different languages and genres," added Shetty.

The Telugu movie Anaganaga – O – Dheerudu stars Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Manchu and Harshitha, will release in January 2011 and is directed by Prakash Rao Kovelamudi. The movie will also be dubbed in Tamil. Walt Disney India is also producing a live action Hindi feature film called Zokkomon, which stars Darsheel Safary and Anupam Kher. It is being directed by Satyajit Bhatkal.
