Whistling Woods International talent attracts industry biggies

Mumbai: Whistling Woods International (WWI) announced that its first batch of students, ready for placement, has received a fantastic response from the Indian film industry. The students will graduate in July 2008.

The students have received offers from industry majors like Mirchi Movies, Mukta Arts, Big Animation, Paprikaas, Optimystix, SIC, Red Chillies, Fox Films, Endemol, Balaji, Rajkamal Films, Dharma Productions, BR Films, Viacom, Network 18 and Adlabs Media. The maximum salary offered to a student is Rupees 7.7 lacs per annum.

Expressing her excitement after being offered placement by Mukta Arts, Tanupriya Sharma, an editing student said, "Whistling Woods taught me the aesthetic art of story telling, which is very essential for editing. The guest lectures were exciting at the same time informative too. Learning the technicalities of editing has given me a complete value for my money and now I look forward to working with Mukta Arts as an Associate Editor."
