At the trailer launch of PK, when Aamir was asked why he schedules the promotional activities of his films around SRK’s films, Aamir agreed that he stands to gain a lot from Shah Rukh’s popularity. But he brushed it off as a happy coincidence only. He has always released his films on Christmas so it is just a coincidence and nothing else.

Well, we don’t deny that could be a coincidence. But it has happened a little too often for us to dismiss it as happenstance. First you tried to publicise Ghajini at the theatre that screened Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and now you are keeping a tab on every promotional stance of Happy New Year before releasing the promotional materials of your film PK. Today, Happy New Year released and yesterday, you scheduled the theatrical release of PK. Just saying!
