MUMBAI: The Sunday morning ritualistic meet-and-greet that Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan performs outside his residence every weekend got a whole lot more special for his thousands of fans.
Amitabh Bachchan’s bonnie granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan joined in the fun, and was seen by her dadu’s side as he waved out to his milling fans outside his Juhu residence. The Big B has been following this ritual ever since his accident on the sets of the 1982 super hit ‘Coolie’ and has never missed a Sunday when he is in town.
This time around, bahurani Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and beta Abhishek joined their family’s patriarch Amitabh Bachchan, who smiled and waved to all his fans. Dressed in a black-and-red tracksuit, the Shehenshah of Indian cinema looked pleased at the turnout, and even more pleased that his granddaughter was following in his famous footsteps.
Amitabh Bachchan posted the pictures on his Facebook page and commented: “The Sunday well wishers had a bit of a surprise today… the little one came out too..”
“More crowds for the Sunday meet and a more bewildered Aaradhya ..!” he added.
