We have seen actors play superhero on the big screen, but after what Farhan Akhtar did, he surely deserves the “Superhero” title. The actor turned hero and saved a person’s life on the sets of Zoya Akhtar‘s Dil Dhadakne Do in Turkey.
The crew was enjoying the beach after the day’s pack up in Anatolia. Ranveer Singh’s hairdresser Darshan, while enjoying the breeze, dived into the sea for a good swim. But the high wave swept him away from the shore. Someone spotted Darshan struggling in the water and raised an alarm.
The commotion caught Farhan’s attention and without even wasting another minute, Farhan jumped into the water for Darshan’s rescue and saved him from drowning. Everyone on the beach was in panic and worry as the current was pretty strong. But Farhan’s heroic act saved Darshan’s life. Farhan is known to be an excellent swimmer and it was his brave act that saved the day.
Everyone on the beach greeted and praised Farhan Akhtar. After all, it was Farhan’s daring decision, sharpness and timely act that saved a life that day. Finally, the day ended on a happy note as no one was harmed.
