MUMBAI: The recently held People’s Choice Awards was a power-packed evening with the most star-studded performances imaginable.

Bollywood’s biggest superstars were seen under one roof, sharing a night of music, dance and revelry. In the midst of all this fun, they even found time to recognize each others talent through awards!

The biggest dance performances of the evening were those of Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, Prabhu Deva, and of course, Mrs. Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Priyanka paid tribute to veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra, whose recent tragic demise shook up the entire Industry. Priyanka played the quintessential Chopra heroine on stage, white chiffon sari et al.

She looked resplendent as she paid homage to the visionary director’s aesthetic style, by swaying to the beats of superhits from his films ‘Chandni’, ‘Kabhi Kabhi’ and ‘Lamhe’. It was a teary eyed farewell to the filmmaker who has touched so many lives through his timeless cinema.

Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti, Bollywood’s latest ‘bubbly babe’, also showed off her killer dance moves.

The lady performed quite an exotic trapeze-ish act where she descended onto the stage perched on a cube. Clad in a bright blue sequined number, Parineeti shone bright as she performed to her own greatest hits.

Prabhu Deva broke into an impromptu jig on stage with the host of the evening, Ayushmann Khurana. The man with Michael Jackson’s moves really set the stage on fire with his signature style.

Priyanka Chopra also took home the best international debut award at the event for her single ‘In My City’. The lady has recently added platinum selling recording actress to her repertoire, and was being facilitated for her incredible feat.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan won the trophy for best TV host for the quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.

Other awardees included actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was awarded the favourite youth movie icon, and India’s Olympic medal winners Mary Kom, Vijender Singh, Yogeshwar Dutt, Gagan Narang and Sushil Kumar.
