Setting yet another benchmark in her career, Priyanka Chopra is all set to make her big television debut in ABC Network’s American show Quantico . With this, Priyanka becomes the first Indian actor to land a lead role in a (large) American TV series.
The actress and global icon, who is literally living out of her suitcase, managing the balancing act between her international tv show and Bollywood film commitments recently made things a little more convenient for herself ! Priyanka has rented a swanky five-bedroom villa in Montreal, Canada where she will be shooting extensively for Quantico.
Says a source, “Priyanka Chopra has booked a five bedroom villa for herself and her team accompanying her. Since Priyanka Chopra will stay in Montreal, Canada, for a long duration, she wants to ensure she has a comfortable setup there.”
The workaholic actress Priyanka Chopra is gaining laurels not only in the tinsel town of Bollywood but is also making a significant mark globally. The glamorous actress who has proved that she can carry any film on her back with ease is much in news for her American TV debut Quantico.
The first poster of the serious drama is out with Priyanka in a hand cuffed look. Looking all promising in her FBI avatar, Piggy Chops has ventured into the world of television in a grand scale; the actress is the first Indian diva to bag such an integral role. With loads of high hopes riding on her Piggy Chops is also feeling the burden of the grandeur.

The Dil Dhadakne Do actress will be seen playing the role of the character named Alex Parish in Quantico. As we all know the dynamics of the film and TV industry are vastly different, the same is being felt by the fashionista Priyanka. Commenting on her TV stint the lovely star took to her twitter wall and expressed, “So much work!! I didn’t know tv was so many scenes in one day.. Nyc la Montreal in a matter of a week!! Craaaaay! #Quantico.”
The back to back shoots for the serious drama Quantico is keeping the gorgeous girl busy, as the serial is with a continuous nature it is also reported that Priyanka will be majorly based in the US for the next six months. The series Quantico will premiere on September 27th. The highly anticipated series is based on a group of FBI recruits; the series will take a serious turn when one of them will be labeled as the master mind behind the US terrorist attacks.
With high levels of curiosity the audience is eagerly waiting for the show to commence.
