When Ranbir Kapoor Made Anushka Sharma Cry

The actor who is known to put spell on people with his charm, Ranbir Kapoor, once made Anushka Sharma cry. Yes, that’s right. As you may know, the two are starring opposite each other in Anurag Kashyap‘s film Bombay Velvet. Reportedly, during the shooting of the film, Ranbir did something that made Anushka cry.

During an interaction, Anushka revealed that Ranbir, who loves to irritate, joke around and make fun of people during shoots, got on her nerve so badly, that she cried. Anushka, who likes to keep it to herself, became Ranbir‘s target of jokes. But one day, the PK actress just couldn’t tolerate it anymore and burst out in tears. “He’s easy to work with as he’s my friend. We would fight. I even cried once,” Anushka revealed.

But, just like a good friend and humble guy, Ranbir came up to Anushka and apologized for the jokes, saying that he wouldn’t trouble her again. The actress went further on and revealed, “I didn’t want to fight with him because we were going to shoot a romantic scene. I couldn’t even fight with him. I started to cry like a chick.”

Jokes apart, the two share a good rapport and Anushka has respect for Ranbir as an artist. Anushka calls Ranbir a very good actor, who is so talented, that his acting comes effortlessly.

The two will be sizzling the big screens soon in director Anurag Kashyap‘s drama film Bombay Velvet, which also stars Karan Johar in the main antagonist role. Bombay Velvet is Karan Johar’s first film with a full-fledged role as an actor. Based on Gyan Prakash book called Mumbai Fables, Bombay Velvet shows the picture of Bombay in 1960’s and tells a story of a boxer, Johnny Balraj played by Ranbir Kapoor and an aspiring jazz singer, Rosie played by Anushka Sharma. The film will hit theatres on May 15, 2015.
