Yesterday, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s Bombay Velvet trailer was the second thing that grabbed all the attention after India vs Bangladesh cricket match.
The thrilling and the most awaited trailer of Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet was revealed during the progress of India vs Bangladesh match yesterday. Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor made sure that along with the trailer launch during the match, he is present at the commentary box too.

Ranbir joined former cricketers Shoaib Akhtar and Akash Chopra for the commentary during the match. As the match started, Ranbir Kapoor shared some of his experiences and facts while shooting for Bombay Velvet.
The actor also shared about his co-star Anushka Sharma, whose boyfriend was on the field, playing for team India.

He said, “My favorite cricketer is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. However, my co-star Anushka Sharma is a good bowler with medium spin. Cricket was our favourite pastime on the sets of Bombay Velvet. Not many people know that Anushka is a great cricket player, I don’t know how but she plays really good cricket. She’s a medium spinner. She never took my wicket, but doosron ki wicket leti rehti thi.”
Ranbir Kapoor’ role as ‘Bigshot Johnny Balraj’ in Bombay Velvet is quiet impressive. The actor also spoke about his role in the movie. He said, an actor needs to have a macho look to perform an action role. “I think the emotional connect is more important to make the fight scenes more believable. I don’t wish to build my body and then perform action roles. If my film has action in it, then it is important that there is a good reason behind all the action.”
