Kareena Kapoor Khan seems to be a favorite when it comes to playing the role of a doctor. After portraying the character of a medical student in 3 Idiots the actress is once again rumored to show her intelligent skills in Udta Punjab.
If speculations are to be believed then Kareena will be seen playing the role of a doctor in the film Udta Punjab. The film which revolves around the sensitive subject of substance abuse stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in main leads. Apparently it is said that Shahid himself had suggested Kareena’s name for the film.
Based in Punjab the movie will be dealing with the never yet completely explored topic of drug culture. If rumors are to be believed then Alia Bhatt the female lead in the film will be essaying the role of a drug addict and a migrant in the film. Directed by Abhishek Chaubey Udta Punjab is already highly anticipated by the masses.
The movie will also mark the entry of Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh in Bollywood. Udta Punjab is all the more special for Shahid Kapoor as his brother Ishaan is all set to make his debut as assistant director in the film.
