The newest friends of B-Town are Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. They made headlines during Arpita Khan‘s wedding, and buried the old hatchet.

Well, now since they are friends, it seems Salman Khan seems to be following the path of King Khan to promote his upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Salman has loved Shah Rukh‘s idea of a world tour to promote his film Happy New Year and now, the Kick star wants to implement the same for his upcoming Diwali release – Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Salman Khan who usually doesn’t promote his films, is all set to promote it in a grand way this time.

Shah Rukh Khan took a world tour SLAM! to promote Happy New Year and performed live along with the film’s cast. Apparently, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo‘s production house is also planning to devise a similar strategy.

Like Shah Rukh, Salman too has a major fan following abroad and the actor reportedly plans to cash on it and promote his upcoming film on a large scale.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is directed by Sooraj Barjatya, and stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead and Neil Nitin Mukesh and Swara Bhaskar will be seen in supporting roles. The film is scheduled to be released around Diwali 2015.
