Actor Salman Khan’s case related to the hit and run accident of 2002 is in its final stages. Relating to which the prosecution has now demanded the actor to submit his license to the court for certain standard legal procedures. The prosecution is now demanding the license carried by Salman Khan at the time of the accident.

However, there has been no final statement regarding the same and the court will make an announcement pertaining the request on Monday. Special Public Prosecutor Pradip Gharat’s argument stated that Salman Khan’s driving license is an important instrument of evidence if the actor is denying the allegations made on him.
Further the prosecution has made a request to record the statement of the evidence given by the actor’s then bodyguard constable Ravindra Patil, who died few years ago. Other than being accused of drinking and driving, it was also revealed that Salman Khan was driving without proper license when the event took place. The actor has denied that he was on the wheel during the accident in 2002. If convicted, he could spend up to 10 years in prison.

Salman Khan is currently in Gujarat shooting for his upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with actress Sonam Kapoor. The actor recently missed the hearing of his case related to the blackbuck poaching that has now been put off till March 3.
