Shahid Kapoor Goes Missing From Haider Success Bash

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj won big at the 62nd National Film Awards for his film Haider. The film bagged 5 awards at National Film Awards. Haider, a modern day adaptation of William Shakespeare’s tragic story Hamlet, won Best Male Playback Singer, Best Choreography, Best Costume Designer, Best Dialogues and Best Music.

Well, wining National Awards and winning big is a great accomplishment on its own, and to celebrate this grand moment, Haider director Vishal Bhardwaj threw a success bash. The celebration was held at Villa 69 in Mumbai.

Every Haider team member drove in to celebrate the success of the film. However, the leading actor of Haider, Shahid Kapoor was missing from the party. Yes, the actor who mesmerized the audiences with his breathtaking performance in the film, Shahid Kapoor, was nowhere to be found at the Haider success bash.

Sadly, Shahid didn’t bag National award for his fabulous role in Haider. Nonetheless, Shahid expressed his happiness on Haider‘s big win. The actor tweeted, “And Haider wins 5 at the national awards . So so so happy . Every one of them so well deserved . Proud . Big grin .”

Even though the star was in town, he let this success bash slip out and stayed home. We wonder why Shahid missed out such a big celebration?

We spotted the female lead of the film, Shraddha Kapoor in her best mood. Other than her, Rekha Bhardwaj, Siddharth Roy Kapur and Sukhwinder Singh were also present amongst others. Queen director Vikar Bahl was also spotted at the party.
