The leaked trailer of the film Mohalla Assi has become a talk of the town lately. Sunny Deol and Sakshi Tanwar starrer film has been making headlines because of its daring abusive dialogues in the leaked trailer.
However, where on one side people are gushing about this controversial interaction between the two stars, some social organizations are miffed with the same. A case has been filed on actor Sunny Deol and director Chandra Prakash Dwivedi in Varanasi. A complaint has been filed by Sarvajan Jagruti Sanstha citing that the footage portrays Varanasi in a bad light and moreover also disturbs the moral ethics.

The complaint has been filed in the Bhelupur police station. The complainant has said, “The film hurts religious sentiments and we cannot allow such a film to be released,” to the IANS.
The movie has already garnered loads of eyeballs because of its heightened dialogues leaked; the film is based on the novel, Kashi Ka Assi by Kashinath Singh. Actor Sunny Deol is seen using loud and cult words in the film, his character is said to be playing the role of a pundit, whereas Sakshi Tanwar will be seen playing his wife. The movie is focused on a middle class family who are struggling to earn their bread and butter.
Now and then movies are subjected to such complaints, and Mohalla Assi is the new entrant in this list. Masses will see Sunny and Sakshi in a cult and rough avatar in the movie.
