Salman Khan’s Bajangi Bhaijaan has been breaking records in domestic and worldwide market ever since it hit the theatres. After a superb one month run at the Box Office, Kabir Khan’s family drama film has reportedly crossed 600 crore mark with its total worldwide collection!
Though there aren’t any official statements confirming the report of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan driving past 600 crore mark worldwide, Internet is abuzz with people celebrating Salman’s another victory at the Box Office. Since Sunday, #BajrangiBhaijaan600crWW is trending on Twitter. Salman Khan’s fans have gone gaga over the reports.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, was released in more than 4,500 screens all over the world. The cross border drama by director Kabir Khan, which tells us a story of a soft-hearted big Bajrangi devotee, Pavan, who sets out on a journey to help a little mute Pakistani girl reach safely back to her homeland, received an over-whelming response from the audiences not only in India but also overseas. Throughout its one month journey at the Box Office, many films released but Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan kept going strong and breaking records with its outstanding business.
Released on July 17, Bajrangi Bhaijaan became the highest Pre-Eid opener in Bollywood. Not only that, the film became the biggest Bollywood opener of 2015, leaving rest of the Bollywood films far behind. Forget other films, Salman Khan broke his own film, Kick’s record with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. With its mind blowing run in worldwide market, the film also became a blockbuster overseas.
Salman Khan mesmerized the audiences with his performance in the film and showed that he truly is the Dabangg Khan of Bollywood by yet again ruling the Box Office with Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
We have to also give it to the rest of the cast of the family drama film, which featured Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of Rasika, whereas Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the role of a Pakistani journalist. Harshaali Malhotra won hearts with her performance as the little girl in the film.
