Salman Khan starrer film Bajrangi Bhaijaan is talk of the town and why shouldn’t it be, as the film is doing a fantastic business at the Box Office. Directed by Kabir Khan, the action drama film had a smooth run on Thursday and earned Rs. 15.30 crore net (153 million) approximately. Released on last Friday, the film has successfully completed its first week run at the Box Office with total first week collections of Rs. 181.30 crore net (1813 million) approximately. The film has already shattered all the possible records set by Kick and now with this, the film has earned itself the 3rd spot in the list of top highest first week collections in Bollywood.

In the list, the first spot is acquired by Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3, which collected Rs.188.50 crore net (1885 million) approx. on its opening week in India. However, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan was extremely close to beating Aamir Khan’s PK and taking the 2nd spot in the list as Aamir’s PK earned Rs. 183 crore net (1830 million) approx. Barjangi Bhaijaan could have beaten Aamir Khan’s PK’s first week business if the film’s occupancy rate hadn’t had a little fall in South circuits. While Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a fabulous run at the Box Office in places like Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Punjab, Hyderabad, Rajasthan and Gujarat, the film did a decent busienss in South.
However, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a splendid run at the Box Office on its opening week. Even on weekdays, the film minted excellent numbers. Kabir Khan’s action drama is already a massive hit everywhere. Now that the film has completed its first week run with firm and strong collections, we look forward to the sort of numbers it will bring in on its second weekend at the Box Office, as it will finally reveal whether the film ends up setting a new benchmark or not.
