MUMBAI: The Dirty Picture has smashed 1st week box office records by collecting a phenomenal Rs 525 million (52.5 crores ) out of which approximately Rs 485 million (48.5 crores) came from  the Hindi version & approximately Rs 300 million (3 crores) came from the Tamil and Telgu version making it the ninth biggest opening film in terms of net collections in India.

With Friday and Saturday collections in the second week being good as per early estimates and with no big ticket Hindi release scheduled for this week, The Dirty Picture is likely to continue its hold on the box office this weekend too.
