The film is doing a good business in all the major circuits, especially Mumbai, where the film is still going strong in the theatres. The sort of reaction the film has received and is receiving is comparatively far better than most of the Bollywood films that released this year.

Despite being released on lesser numbers of screen counts, ABCD 2 is on the top of the chart and has become the highest first weekend collectors of the year at theBox Office. Until now, Akshay Kumar’s Gabbar Is Back held the top spot in the list and was the highest first weekend earner of 2015, which was released in over 3000 screens. But now Varun and Shraddha starrer ABCD 2 is leading the race, even though the film was released in 2500 screens approx. in India.
