MUMBAI: Dharma Productions’ ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, directed by Ayan Mukherjee and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin is set to scale newer and greater heights, possibly touching the fantastic Rs 200 crore mark!
The first two weeks were nothing short of a dream run for ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, and the film doesn’t look like it is slowing down at all. As reported, the film crossed the coveted Rs 1 billion (Rs 100 crore) mark within its first week itself.
The 10 day total of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ was a staggering Rs 1.3472 billion (Rs 134.72 crore) net.
At the end of its second week, light-hearted romance film stood mighty at an approximate collections of Rs 1.5166 billion (Rs 151.66 crore) net.
By the third weekend, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ has managed to touch approximately Rs 1.68 billion (Rs 168 crore) net. Now the question seems to be even more pertinent: will ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ manage to scale the heights of box office success, and punch in a figure of Rs 2 billion (Rs 200 crore) net?
