The modern day Catwoman, Anne Hathway has some hosting advise for the “How I Met Your Mother” fame Neil Patrick Harris for this year’s Academy Awards.
Anne Hathway, who hosted the 2011 Academy Awards along with James Franco said, “Do the opposite of what I did, and you’ll be fine.” The actress who won the award of Best Supporting Actress in last year’s Oscar, for her role in the movie “Les Miserables” received lot of criticism for her poor hosting along with James Franco.

The duo was blamed to have no chemistry amongst them and that led to a poor performance by both during the hosting duties. James Franco seemed not interested and too laid back throughout the show, whereas Anne Hathway was seen to be over enthusiastic to host the function.
Neil Patrick Harris is going to be the host for this year’s Academy Awards. Anne Hathway added that she knows Neil Patrick will do great as she thinks he’s a natural host. When asked what went wrong during her hosting she said, “I think it’s so obvious that it doesn’t even need to be identified. He’ll be great. He’s a natural host.”
The academy awards are to be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It will go on air on Sunday, February 22.
