Hollywood pop star Lady Gaga will be performing in this year’s 87th Academy Awards. The Oscar 2015 will be a grand event like every year seeing performances from best of the musicians and recently added to the list is none other than Lady Gaga.
The Born This Way hit maker attended last year’s Oscar as a guest but this year she will be seen live on stage. Quite a leap in one year! Reportedly she will be doing a tribute performance the details of which the producers of the show Craig Zadan and Neil Meron have not spilled.
The producers stated, “Lady Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist whose musical evolution keeps growing. We are proud to have her perform on the Oscars for the very first time.” Lady Gaga is a platinum award artist and has sold millions of copies of her albums and singles all over the world. Gaga has won 6 Grammy awards till date and is known for her unique style of music.
Other than Lady Gaga, performances at the 87th Academy Awards will also include performances by Jennifer Hudson, Jack Black, Rita Ora,Common and John Legend. Recent news suggested that Twilight actress Anna Kendrick will also be performing at the event. The Pitch Perfect actress is well known for her singing apart from her acting skills.
