Ousted Idol participant makes it to White House
Ousted American idol participant Sanjaya Malakar was invited to the White House to attend the annual Correspondents Association Dinner hosted by the Washington press corps this weekend.
Says www.Hollywood.tv founder Sheeraz Hasan, Malakar was the talentless one among a group of guests that includes Jane Fonda, Teri Hatcher, John Cusack, Sheryl Crow, Dennis Hopper and Morgan Fairchild on the entertainment side, and Condoleezza Rice, Robert Kennedy Jr and Henry Kissinger on the political side.
Malakar was also expected to attend the Bloomberg LP after-party. After weeks of having to endure Simon Cowell’s acid tongue before he was booted off American Idol, Malakar is now looking for a job. “I’m definitely looking at a music career but I also want to venture into acting and modeling and possibly Broadway or something because I want to get into the entertainment business,” Hasan quotes Malakar as saying.
