Mumbai: Star has appointed Ben Money as its vice president international advertising sales research. Money, whose appointment is effective immediately, will be based in Star’s Hong Kong headquarters and will report to senior vice president research Ron Plante.
Money will be responsible for measuring and reporting Star’s global audience and demonstrating the power and value of advertising with Star. Specifically, his portfolio will include Star’s international channels in North America, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Philippines, India and Greater China.
"We are thrilled to have Money on board. His keen understanding of international media sales coupled with his extensive research skills will prove invaluable as Star expands around the globe," Plante said.
Money joins Star from Eurosport Television in London where he was head research, tasked with maximizing advertising revenue and promoting the Eurosport brand by overseeing research activities in the UK, Scandinavia and the US.
